2012 WOO Rule Book
General
1. The purpose of WOO is to bring veteran and rookie sim racers together for fun.
2. All competitors shall conduct themselves in a professional manor without profane behavior towards race officials or fellow competitors in WOO TeamSpeak or in game (consider this a PG-13 environment).
3. It is the responsibility of all competitors to know and understand these rules. If you have any questions, ask in the drivers meeting!

Officiating & Race Protest
1. WOO will make zero in race judgment calls. All races will be reevaluated after the completion of the race in the event of any race protest.
2.
Race Protest: Any competitor may protest the completed race immediately after the Feature if they feel another competitor raced them rough, jumped a restart, or was scored wrong in the final results.
3.
Rough driving: Will not be tolerated. If you are found in violation penalty’s will be issued in relation to the severity of the infraction. Rough driving includes, but not limited to, running someone into the wall, off the track, chop blocking, running into a competitors car under caution or pre or post race, or any other intentional/wreckless contact.

Driver Substitutions / Missing Races
1. WOO does not allow driver substitutions.
2. WOO will permit 2 "mulligans" in each division after the first race of the season. We understand last minute things come up and you may not be able to race with us. If driver contacts WOO prior to the end of the drivers meeting that they wish to use one of their mulligans, then that driver will be given last place points in each points paying event. This may be done through email (spinex@wooracing.net), WOO TeamSpeak (IP: 184.82.152.58), or WOO FaceBook.

Asphalt Modified Series
Race Format
Qualifying
1. WOO will utilize private qualifying (every car will be on track by itself).
2. Each competitor will make a maximum of 2 laps then proceed down the pit lane before exiting out.
3. Qualifying will determine the first feature lineup ONLY. (Fast time starts one pole of 1st Feature)

Features
1. Most WOO events will consist of two features with select events having one feature event (see schedule for complete details).
2. For events with double features, the second feature lineup will be a complete inversion from the first feature.
3. Only your best finish of the two races will be scored for points.

In Race
Passing
1. It is the responsibility of the overtaking car to avoid contact with the car in front. The game has spotters & mirrors, use them!

Race Start & Restarts
1. Will be double file (odd number positions inside, even number outside).
2. All cars must be in the designated gear & at designated speed for all starts and restarts (Specified in drivers meeting).
3. Lagging back on starts & restarts will not be tolerated and will be reviewed after race if protested.
4. Starts & Restarts will be controlled by the game, when the game says it's green, it's green all over!
5. Give each other space! There is no need to be pushing on each others bumpers on the starts and restarts.

Cautions
1. When cautions are displayed look at your HUD display in the bottom right and line up single file until the double file command is issued by race administrator.
2. If you are involved in an incident whenever and wherever you fall in line after you get rolling again, will be your restart position.
3. Caution laps will count until half-way. After half way, caution laps will not count.

Pitting
1. There will be absolutely no pitting permitted under green or yellow flag conditions during double feature nights.
2. For single feature nights, pitting will be allowed.
3. You must obey the pit road speed limit. If you are caught speeding, you must serve the penalty under green flag conditions.

Lap Traffic
1. Hold your line. It is the responsibility of the faster car to pass you safely. You are not required to give up your preferred line, but you are required to hold a consistent and steady line when lead lap cars are overtaking.
